Pp-7: By-election on September 26

RAWALPINDI:  

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hold a by-election in PP-7, Rawalpindi, on September 26th. The seat had fallen vacant after the passing of Muhammad Siddique Khan. Based on the schedule issued by the ECP, nomination papers could be filed with the returning officer until August 16, while scrutiny will be held on 18th and 19th. The last date for filing appeals against the decisions of the RO about nomination will be 22nd. The tribunal will decide the appeals on 24th, whereas candidates can withdraw papers by 27th. The final list of candidates will be issued on August 27.
