Regulation: CDGL to set up makeshift markets

LAHORE: The City District Government Lahore (CDGL) has banned trade in sacrificial animals for Eidul Azha at other than designated places. It will designate areas for the purpose and set up makeshift cattle markets there. A list issued on Monday shows that special cattle markets will be established in Shahpur Kanjaran and on Multan Road in Allama Iqbal Town; at Adda Rakh Chabeel on GT Road and Manawan in Wagha Town; at Punjab Government Employees Cooperative Housing Society (Phase II), Wapda Town Extension (A-2), on College Road Township and Audit and Accounts Society No2, Kacha Road, in Nishtar Town; at DHA Phase-9 opposite Nishat Mill Hadyara Drain in Gulberg Town; and on Hazrat Usman Road and Main Saggian Road in Data Ganj Buksh Town.
