The book has especially been designed by the National College of Arts, Lahore, for primary level children in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with a message of a corruption-free society.

Government officials, JICA representatives and representatives of public and private schools were also present.

NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said that children were our future and they will work in different fields of life.

“What our children are going to be in the future is what we make them today. That’s the reason the NAB has taken the initiative of introducing a colouring book for the primarily level children in a bid to re-emphasise its commitment to the eradication of corruption by involving children,” he said.

He said that the book examines the factors that contribute to various forms of corruption and will go a long way in changing the perception of our future generation about the menace of corruption.

“It will greatly help in sensitising the children against the ill effects of corruption,” the NAB chairman said.

He said that “the ceremony underlines our continued commitment to eradicate corruption from Pakistan and imparting anti-corruption education is going to be a milestone in putting a positive thinking in the youth to make them a responsible and honest citizen.

He said that the NAB, being an apex anti-corruption agency, was striving for the eradication of corruption through a three-pronged strategy of awareness, prevention, and enforcement.
