KARACHI: Provincial minister for education Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said on Wednesday that it is mandatory for all educational institutes in Sindh to have students sing the national anthem during their morning assemblies.

He also asked the education department officers to pay regular visits to schools and colleges to ensure that they are following the directive and take action against violators.

The minister said participation of students from both public and private schools in the Roshan Pakistan Independence Day Art Competition must be ensured so that their talent is brought to the surface.

He also said that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah is taking a keen interest in the art competition and he will reward the winners with appreciation letters and cash prizes from his own pocket. Dahar added that the ceremony will be held on August 13 at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi and the CM would be the chief guest.

Acorn Guts | 7 years ago | Reply The inspectors must then individually check each student to make sure they are going along word by word. Enforce at least 15 degree bow at the end too. On Friday we must sing the anthem twice because it is a holly day and Pakistan was created in Ramadhan.
