KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Jehangir Tareen (PTI) announced on Wednesday that the party in Sindh will soon be restructured and rejected rumours of any groupings.

Tareen, PTI's secretary general, said this at the party's convention held at Regent Plaza Hotel. Addressing the convention, he said the party chairman Imran Khan wants to restructure the party.

Addressing workers, PTI's Arif Alvi said the party has to set targets to spread their leader's message in the province. "We have two challenges: We have to tackle a political party which believes in the politics of ethnicity in urban Sindh, while for rural Sindh we have to tackle the corrupt practices of another party," he said. However, during Alvi’s speech, party workers started chanting slogans of 'Go Alvi Go.' Despite the nonstop slogans, Alvi continued his speech and said the party will have to unite, otherwise their enemies will cash the conflicts within the party.
