Tragic: Man killed in hit-and-run

ISLAMABAD:  

A man was killed in a hit-and-run at Expressway near Zia Masjid on Monday. Shaukat Masih lodged a complaint with the Khanna police that a speeding truck, driven by an unidentified driver, hit his son, Ehsan Masih, while he was standing at a highway stop near Zia Masjid and subsequently fled. He was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences where the doctors pronounced him dead. The police have registered a case against the truck driver and are on the look out for him.
