ISLAMABAD:  

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Enforcement Directorate announced on Monday, that it has accelerated its operation against encroachers and illegal constructions.

A press release issued by the CDA said that many illegal constructions and encroachments had been removed during the numerous operations conducted recently.

“The staff of the enforcement directorate demolished four under-construction rooms, as well as damp proof course (DPC), which were constructed along a right-of-way on the GT Road in Tarnol. Additionally, 12 illegal sheds at Lehterar Road and one illegal kiosk in Shakarparian were also demolished,” a press release said.

Moreover, one illegal wooden structure in Shalimar Colony F-10/4 was demolished, as well as one in G-9 near Kashmir Highway and two more at 3rd Road G-10/4.

The Directorate of Municipal Administration had earlier cancelled
the licence of these wood stores, and gave them a deadline to remove the structures.
