Fahad Khan | 8 years ago | Reply Pakistani media's role in spreading patriotism The Pakistani media is celebrating August with patriotic fervour this year. Many channels like Geo, Dawn etc. are inviting Pakistanis to share pictures to show their preparations for Independence Day and are getting tremendous response to this campaign. It is so refreshing to see people's national pride despite the fact that they are complaining about their country year round. Our media should not restrict patriotic programming to August but we should have programmes like talk shows and dramas, and even animated shows for children in which we should tell the story of Pakistan - pre- post-Partition.
