A couple was found lying dead in their house in Defence B on Saturday, police said. They said Qamar had worked as a driver and lived in a rented house with his wife Kishwar and their son Rajab, 10. On Saturday, they were found lying dead in their room.
A pistol was found on Qamar’s body. Police said they had learnt that the couple had had a troubled relationship and that they would often quarrel. Rajab told police his parents had had an argument before going to sleep. He said when he knocked at the door the next morning they did not respond. He called some of his neighbours who later called police. Police said it appeared that Qamar had shot his wife before committing suicide. They said they were waiting for a medical report.
