Shot Dead: Four-year-old killed in DI Khan

DI KHAN: A four-year-old girl was killed while her mother was critically injured in DI Khan when unidentified men entered their house and opened fire on them. An official of Saddar police station told The Express Tribune that armed men broke into the home of Jahangir Khan Marwat in Ratha Kulachi at about 3:30am.“He opened fire on them,” he said. “As a result, Hurain Bibi died on the spot while her mother, Gulshan Bibi, was wounded.” According to the police official, Gulshan Bibi was admitted in District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital DI Khan.“We have registered an FIR against unidentified people,” he said. “Further investigation is under way.” Separately, a boy reportedly attempted suicide in Cha Syed Munawar of DI Khan. An official of Cantt Police Station told The Express Tribune the boy shot himself with a pistol.
