He took over the charge in a simple ceremony. Upon arrival at the university, he was received by faculty members and staff. On the occasion, Sarwar said his priority will be to ensure conducive academic environment.
The VC maintained that he was determined to streamline all administrative, financial and academic affairs of the institution, which were once counted amongst most prestigious bodies of the country.
