Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

Tedious as the practical, business or financial matters you’re facing seem, make dealing with them your priority. Once your ruler Mars moves into restless Sagittarius, on Tuesday, you’ll have good reason to be out and about. You’ll not only be relieved they’ve been handled, what you learn will be extremely useful.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

There’s making a plan. And then there’s making lasting plans, which obviously is preferable, as it means you know what to expect next week, next month and, in some cases, next year. Yet judging by the current unsettling planetary activity, you could have trouble anticipating what the next few days will bring.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

Having spent so much of the past several weeks dealing with practical matters and obligations, especially to others, you’re feeling overwhelmed. You need a break and, judging by the next few days’ planetary activity, you’re about to get it. And in a manner that’s as exciting as it is unexpected.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

When you’re feeling upbeat, you’ll happily discuss even rather far out ideas. But when your mood’s uncertain or you’re unsettled, you’d rather hear about something that’s reassuring. However, with so much in transition, it’s worth considering both. At minimum, you’ll learn something. It might even boost your spirits.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

As a Leo you have high standards, both for yourself, personally, and in situations involving others. But, as you’ve learnt to your cost, not everybody cares as much as you do about getting things right. While you can’t change the character of others, you can encourage them to try a little harder.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

In mid July your ruler Mercury entered the most strategic and reflective portion of your chart, triggering a period as complex as it’s been informative, especially about certain tricky matters you often sidestep. Still, you’ll be relieved to learn that its move, into Virgo, begins a new cycle.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

When you began disentangling yourself from certain longstanding but unrewarding friendships or alliances a while ago, you had mixed feelings. As a Libra, you’re about sustaining, not ending, relationships. Still, pause and savour the sheer pleasure in knowing you no longer need to pretend you’re enjoying their company.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Every once in a while certain arrangements, even those that are a longstanding element of your life, need to be rethought. And possibly changed. Because the New Moon, early next week, accents exactly such matters and brings a timely fresh perspective, there’s no better moment to begin considering your options.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Patience isn’t your strength. However, certain situations have forced you to withdraw, and leave things to develop in their own time. Similarly, you’ve had to refrain from encouraging others, because they felt you were being pushy. While it’s been surprisingly informative, you’ll be relieved to learn this cycle is over.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

Planning ahead may be wise. But between this week’s powerful link between Mercury and Uranus, the planet of innovation and the unexpected, and next week’s, which involves Venus, even the simplest of arrangements is unlikely to remain as first envisioned. Despite that, even sudden developments are bound to be a delight.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Certain practical or financial matters, that are as dull as they are crucial, are increasingly pressing. While, usually, you’d usually deal with these swiftly, it’s colossolly unwise. You’ll soon regret it. Invest time in tackling these properly now and you’ll both learn something and need never bother with them again.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

It’s time you were tough with one particular individual. You’ve said this in the past and have, in fact, actually tackled the issue in question. The problem is, you lost interest, so any changes weren’t lasting. Now, however, things have reached the point at which it’s clear you really must make a sustained effort.
