KALLAR SYEDAN: The alleged rape of a teenage boy by two men was reported in Kallar Syedan on Monday, the police said. It is the third such case in the last two weeks.

The police said that MS*, a local resident, reported that around 8pm on Monday, he was returning home from a local market when QF* and TF*, who are brothers, drove up on a motorcycle, intercepted him and forcibly took him to a vacant area. He said they then gagged and blindfolded him with pieces of cloth before assaulting him.

They later dumped him in the Bank Chowk area, where his parents were searching for him.

Earlier, a man had allegedly raped a 17-year-old boy. According to the police, MH*, a local resident who works at a shop in Mughal Bazaar, asked MO*, also a local resident, to help him clean a small warehouse. When the boy entered the warehouse, MH allegedly shut the doors and raped him, while also recording the incident. The boy later told his father, who lodged the complaint.

The local police arrested the suspect and have seized a mobile phone on which they claim to have found the recordings.

Meanwhile, two weeks ago HA*, a seminary student from Ghizer District in Gilgit-Baltistan, was allegedly raped, murdered and dumped in Phalina Noor Dam, from where his body was recovered.

The police arrested two men in connection with the murder. The suspects are currently in remand.
