Azlan Shah: Pakistan to take on India

Express May 07, 2010

IPOH: Pakistan is all set to play against India in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup on Friday.

In the first match, Pakistan started off the 19th Azlan Shah Cup with a 3-3 draw with hosts Malaysia on Thursday.

Coach KM Junaid hopes the three-time champions will give it their best as he inducted twelve more players to the team. The new players were coached by Junaid for the Junior World Cup Finals held in Malaysia and Singapore last year.

The addition comes after several key players retired from the team after a disappointing finish in World Cup finals in New Delhi in March 2010.
