Terrible: Woman attacked with toxic powder

DASKA: A woman’s eyes were affected after some unidentified men threw a toxic powdery substance in her face on Wednesday night in Daska. Police said Kashmala, daughter of Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Hajipura, was at home when someone knocked on the door. She opened a window to ask who it was and some men threw a poisonous substance at her face. Police said she was taken to Civil Hospital for treatment. Doctors treating her said Kashmala’s eyesight had been affected. They said she might she lose her eyesight entirely. They said her condition was serious.
