Pro-coas banners: Suspects sent to jail

ISLAMABAD: A judicial magistrate on Tuesday sent two suspects arrested for putting up controversial banners of Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif to jail. Secretariat police had arrested Arshad Salamat and Faheem on Friday for putting up controversial banners that allegedly called upon the army chief to take over and impose martial law in the country. A police officer told The Express Tribune that the two suspects had told the police that they were hired by the three office bearers of the Move On Pakistan party who were on protective bail.
