Rescue-1122 officials said the blast had occurred at a gas decanting shop near the Dera Ghazi Khan General Bus Stand. Shop owner Nasrullah and his employee Shahid were injured and two motorcycles parked in front of the shop had burned down. The officials said that the windshield of a car and windowpanes of shops nearby had also shattered. Rescue-1122 was informed about the incident. They put out the fire at the shop and took the injured to Dera Ghazi Khan Teaching Hospital. Doctors there later said their condition was stable. Several people in the area said they had initially thought it was a terrorist attack. Police said they had registered a case against the shopkeeper. They said a crackdown against gas decanting shops was underway in the province.
