Abortion: Man seeks FIR against in-laws

LAHORE:  

A judge sought comments on Saturday from the Liaquatabad SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking a case against his in-laws for aborting his child without his consent.

Petitioner Younus submitted that her pregnant wife was visiting her parents. He said they had persuaded her to undergo an abortion. He said they had not taken him into confidence.

He said he had requested the SHO to take action against them but he had done nothing in this regard. He requested the court to order the officer to register an FIR against them.
