The Federal Ombudsman has demarcated the place for it inside the jail and aims to start construction work from next month.
The ombudsman office officials said that children would be provided free food, toys, school uniforms and books.
In addition, a vocational training institute would also be set up for women so that they could learn technical education, which would be helpful for them once they step out of jail.
Sources said that a total of 46 children were present inside jail without having the facilities of free food etc.
Earlier, a daycare centre was set up at the Kot Lakhpat jail where 27 minors have been provided free food, clothes, toys and education.
While revealing more details, the senior law adviser at the Federal Ombudsman, Hafiz Ahsan Ahmed Khokhar, said that the ombudsman had prepared a plan of bringing reforms in all 89 jails in the country.
Khokhar said that the plan aimed to make prison environment and security better.
In addition, he said, the ombudsman planned to offer help to the under-trial prisoners for an expedite disposal of their cases.
