Imprisoned: Under-trial prisoner dies in jail ward

LARKANA: An under-trial prisoner (UTP) died in the jail ward of Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Wednesday morning. Abdul Rasool, 47, son of Abdul Ghani Khoso, was remanded by civil judge and judicial magistrate-II, Shahdadkot, on June 6. Rasool was under treatment in the male orthopaedic ward and was operated in a case of craniotomy. The Larkana central prison senior superintendent has requested the medical superintendent to conduct postmortem of the deceased UTP in presence of the magistrate and then handover his body to the legal heirs.
