Separate incidents: Four die in Haripur
In the first incident, Safeer Ahmed was killed when Abdul Basit resorted to aerial firing during a wedding ceremony in the district.
A police official told The Express Tribune the deceased’s body was shifted to the hospital for an autopsy. A case has been registered against the incident.
Separately, Shaukat, opened fire on his brother Ahmed Din and nephew Rizwan and fled the site.
A police official told The Express Tribune, the incident was triggered by a property dispute.
As a result, Rizwan was killed on the spot while Ahmed Din was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition.
In another incident, 24-year-old Nabi had an argument with his elder brother. Later, he went to his room and reportedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. His body was shifted to the hospital. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
