11 housing schemes declared illegal

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has declared 11 housing colonies illegal.

A spokesman for the FDA said on Saturday the FDA had sent a letter to the district collector to not register sale and purchase of plots in Sangum Town, Qadir Town, Faisal Villas, Paradise Garden, Sadhar Villas, Gulfishan Garden in Chak 67-JB Sadhar, Ali Villas, Babul Islam in Chak 73-JB Jhapal, Rehmat Town in Chak 241-RB, Ali Garden in Chak 66-JB and Maqbool Town in Chak 61-JB.

He said letters had also been sent to the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) managing director, the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) planning and design director and the general manager of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), asking them to stop providing services to the colonies declared illegal.
