At Jalozai Camp: Army chief gives Eid gifts to TDPs

Chief of Army staff General Raheel Sharif Tuesday visited temporarily displaced people living at the Jalozai refugee camp in Nowshera and distributed Eid gifts among them. In this regard, a ceremony was held where a large number of police officers showed up including Pabbi Police Station SHO Alamgir Khan and Pabbi AAC Javed Iqbal. Major Asif distributed 3,000 Eid packets among displaced families, including 800 for women and 1,200 for children and adults. He vowed to support them in the future. He stated that the gifts were distributed to show solidarity with the displaced people on Eidul Fitr. Tuesday’s visit follows a similar visit to an IDP camp in Bannu where Gen Raheel spent time with displaced families and had Iftar with them.
