Against the coup: PPP to observe black day in K-P
Pakistan Peoples Party will observe a black day on Tuesday (today) to commemorate July 5 when founder of the party, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, was ousted through a military coup. This was mentioned in a handout issued on Monday. According to an announcement by the provincial leadership of the party, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked party members across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to hoist black flags and observe a black day. “He was an elected prime minister who was overthrown by a military dictator,” PPP K-P former president Khanzada Khan was quoted as saying.
