KARACHI: Two suspected criminals were killed during an alleged exchange of fire with the police at Super Highway on Saturday. According to the police, the encounter occurred when two armed men on a motorcycle were looting passersby on the road. The police on routine patrolling reached the site and intercepted them. The suspects opened fire at the police instead of stopping their motorcycle. The police also fired back and killed the two suspects. Though the suspects have yet to be identified, the police claimed that they hail from Afghanistan and were wanted in various cases of street crimes in the city. A case was registered.
