LAHORE: Admissions for the fall semester have begun at several public and private universities. Several higher education institutions have announced their schedules for admission application and entry tests.

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) ended registration for admissions on Thursday. A UET spokesman said registration for entry tests for admission in BSc Engineering and BSc Technology had closed at 4pm.

Forms for admissions at the Punjab University have been made available on the websites of the departments which have opted for entry tests. The final date for submission of the forms is July 12.

The university has announced that the departments would remain open on Saturday and Sunday to provide admission forms to applicants. The results of the entry tests will be made available on the Punjab University website as well as on the notice boards of the university’s departments by August 12.

The entry test for Hailey College of Banking and Finance would be held on August 1, 2016.

The PU has extended the registration date for private examinations. Candidates can submit their registration forms with Rs6,500 till July 29.  The PU has announced that the BA/BSc Part-I annual examinations would commence from August 2.

Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Information Technology University (ITU), Forman Christian College University (FCCU), Beaconhouse National University (BNU), University of Management and Technology (UMT) and University of Central Punjab (UCP) have also announced admissions schedules for undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.
