Horrific: Security guard hammered to death

RAWALPINDI: A security guard was hammered to death by unidentified assailants within the Tarnol police jurisdiction on Monday. According to a preliminary investigation, Zubair Khan, a resident of Kohat, was asleep in an under construction building when unidentified assailants smashed his head with a hammer, leaving him dead on the spot.  The incident was reported when another labourer spotted his body in the morning and informed the police who shifted the body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for medico-legal formalities. The police registered a blind murder case and started investigation.
