Power crisis: Nazim threatens protest at Parliament House

Charsadda naib nazim said prolonged power outages have negatively impacted the lives of residents

CHARSADDA: District naib nazim and other district administration members protested against prolonged load-shedding in Charsadda and threatened to hold protest outside Parliament House if the power crisis persists. Charsadda naib nazim Musawir Shah and other district members held a demonstration on Farooq-e-Azam Square and pressed the authorities to end unannounced load-shedding in the district. Shah said prolonged power outages have negatively impacted the lives of residents. He added people were facing over 18 hours of load-shedding every day. He urged the government to address the issue with immediate effect.
