Botany, Genetics: Hazara University gets PhD scholars 

The VC congratulated the two scholars and the administration of Hazara University

Hazara University got first two PhD scholars from Botany and Genetics departments. The two scholars successfully defended their PhD theses on Friday. Irum Naz from the Department of Botany was supervised by Vice Chancellor and Dean of Sciences Professor Dr Habib Ahmed while Dr Nasrin of Pakistan Agriculture Research Council was the co-supervisor. Professor Dr Mukhtar Alam, the dean of sciences at Swabi University, was her examiner. The other PhD scholar was Ikram Muhammad from Department of Genetics at Hazara University. His supervisor was Professor Dr Inamullah, an associate professor at the Department of Botany, and the co-supervisor was the vice chancellor of Hazara University. The two scholars successfully defended their theses. Speaking on this occasion, the vice chancellor of the varsity congratulated the two scholars and the administration of Hazara University for having their own two first PhD scholars from key research departments of botany and genetics.
