One is astonished while reading his writing, even today

A collection of columns written by Irfan Siddiqui, who is also an adviser to the Prime Minister, has hit the stalls.

‘Column Kahani’ contains 100 pieces authored by Siddiqui between October 2011 and December 2013 under the title of ‘Naqsh-e-Khayal’, with reference to the 2013 general election. The columns feature Siddiqi’s writing about the election campaigns of various political parties, political and social drivers, activities influencing the elections, different electoral analyses, and commentaries.

In a comment printed on the flap of the book, journalist Mujibur Rehman Shami says, “The way Siddiqui examined different political parties before the 2013 elections by dissecting their strengths and weaknesses and analysing their claims and promises became proof of his vision. One is astonished while reading his writing, even today. Although he is not a soothsayer or a palmist, his columns of the past are not only fresh and lively today, but rather give him prominence among the visionaries.”
