ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have busted three members of a gang looting commuters after giving them ride in their car.
Police said they received a few complaints about commuters being looted after being offered ride on the roads.
Police high-ups constituted a team to investigate and nab the suspects.
The team arrested three suspects identified as Aftab, Ghulam Murtaza and Islam.
A police spokesperson said that the suspects, during preliminary investigation, confessed to being involved in the crimes.
He said police were on the lookout for some other suspects, including women, who assisted the gang in robberies.
