
In addition the students also got a chance to exhibit their aesthetic skills.
The variety show included skits, parodies, plays and mimicry of singers. Famous folk love stories of Pakistan such as “Heer Ranjha”, “Laila Majnu” and “Romeo Juliet” were dramatized under the head of “Love Aj Kal”, which was a comic modern re-interpretation of the stories.
The final item of this event was a cultural show highlighting different colours and shades of Pakistani culture. Girls wore traditional provincial dresses to lend a colourful ending to an exciting event.
The real gem of the day was “Brides Catwalk”, which won a great deal of applause from the audience.
As many as 30 stalls were decorated by the faculty members and their respective classes.
