Unhcr Event : World Refugee Day observed in Quetta

QUETTA: The UN Refugee Agency in collaboration with Commissioner Afghan Refugees marked the World Refugee Day on Monday. Theme of the World Refugee Day was “We stand together with the refugees.” Home Secretary Balochistan Dr Muhammad Akbar was the chief guest. He lauded the services of UN Refugee Agency and its works to alleviate the suffering of the refugees across the world. He said, “Pakistan has generously hosted the world’s largest refugee population for more than three decades, and it is necessary to mobilize more support from the international community to sustain efforts such as the RAHA initiative.”
