Aisam and Bopanna in the quarterfinals

Pakistan's ace tennis player Aisam ul Haq Qureshi and his Indian teammate Rohan Bopanna scripted a stunning come-back triumph over fourth seeds Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski to book a berth in the doubles quarterfinal of the ATP Estoril Open in Portugal.

The unseeded Indo-Pakistani pair overcame a sluggish start to beat their British opponents 2-6, 6-3, 10-5 in the opening round of the euro 450,000 clay court event, on Wednesday.

They will now next take on the local wild card pair of Pedro Sousa and Leonardo Tavares. Sousa and Tavares beat Oscar Hernandez of Spain and Russia's Igor Kunitsyn 6-2 6-3 in their first round match.
