Vocational training: China’s TUTE extends cooperation 

The main purpose of the visit was to promote cooperation and exchange information in vocational and educational fields

ISLAMABAD: A four-member Chinese delegation from Tianjin University of Technology and Education (TUTE) called on National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Executive Director Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema. The main purpose of the visit was to promote cooperation and exchange information in vocational and educational fields. TUTE is famous for training teaching staff for vocational institutes in China. The delegation comprised International Exchange Office Director Zhai Fengjie, Colleges of Further Education Dean Xie Chao and Chinese Embassy Cultural Attaché Simin Chen.The delegation extended their full cooperation and both sides agreed to take up co-projects like building a centre of excellence and launching a teacher’s training programme. Cheema emphasised that CPEC would open new vistas of prosperity and development and ensure employment opportunities for the people of Pakistan.
