“Good relations between Pakistan and Belarus can help boost academic linkages between the two countries,” University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore VC Fazal Ahmad Khalid said on Monday.
He was speaking at a meeting with Belarus Embassy First Secretary Kirill G Deryabin. Khalid said a number of students from various countries were studying at the UET. He proposed an exchange programme involving faculty and students between the UET and Belarus institutions. Deryabin said Belarus wanted collaboration with Pakistani engineering organisations. He said the embassy would facilitate liaison between the two countries for the promotion of engineering education.
