Admissions for the evening programmes for diploma and Master’s at the University of Karachi (KU) have started, said KU admissions director Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi.
For Master’s, admissions are being offered in various subjects including administrative sciences, agriculture and agribusiness management, applied mathematics, applied physics, applied statistics, BEd (Hons) in special education and teachers’ education, botany, chemistry, commerce (general and insurance) and criminology.
A one-year diploma is being offered in subjects such as applied genetics, computer and information sciences, contemporary Arabic, investigative psychology and Persian. Admission forms are available at the United Bank Limited counter at the KU Silver Jubilee gate from June 20 to July 13. The counter will be open between 8:30am and 2pm in Ramazan and 9:30am to 5pm, otherwise. The form costs Rs1,500.
