Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Indstry (LCCI) vice president Nasir Saeed on Saturday urged political parties to resolve their differences through talks and refrain from agitation. Saeed said that trade and economic activities were being affected by political agitation. “Therefore, the business community appeals to all political parties not to create anarchy. The country already faces a number of economic challenges. Inflammatory statements can have a negative effect on investor confidence,” he said. He said that a week of stalled economic activity costs the country around $500 million. He said that leadership of all political parties should join hands for strengthening the economy.
