Murder case probe: Thirty people picked up in Chaman  

Some of the people were released after preliminary interrogation

QUETTA: Over 30 people were taken into custody by security forces from the border town of Chaman on Sunday. According to officials, the suspects were detained for questioning with reference to the assassination of Law College Quetta Principal Barrister Amanullah Achakzai. Chaman is the main town of Chagai district which is wedged between Afghanistan and Iran and is notorious for trafficking and movement of militants of every colour. Sources said that security forces were randomly picking up people for questioning to find some leads in to the Barrister Ammanullah’s murder case. Some of the people were released after preliminary interrogation.
