Playing With Fire: Child injured in toy bomb explosion

Police registered a case against unidentified suspects

BANNU: A child was seriously injured in a toy bomb explosion near Miryan village, Bannu. Police said Siraj was playing with a toy bomb which exploded as soon as he smashed it against the wall next to him. He was rushed to a hospital in Peshawar for treatment. Police also registered a case against unidentified suspects. On Thursday, two minor girls were reportedly injured in a toy bomb explosion in Mir Alam Wanda, Lakki Marwat. Police said seven-year-old Sidra and eight-year-old Zaibun Nisa were playing outside their house when a toy bomb exploded, leaving both critically wounded. The injured were rushed to the hospital. Police registered an FIR and started an investigation.  On May 21, a minor boy was injured when a toy bomb explosion took place in Sarai Naurang, Lakki Marwat.
