Child labour: Brick kiln sealed

DCO Ehtisham Anwar Mahaar raided a brick kiln in Khairpur Tamewali on Wednesday and found three children working there. A spokesperson said the DCO sealed Rehmani Brick Kiln and directed the SHO of the area to register an FIR against the owner. Mahaar said the government was committed to ending child labour at brick kilns. He said the government has prepared a comprehensive policy framework to ensure enrolment of children of brick kiln workers in schools.
