Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

Being told that certain already exasperating situations are unlikely to be resolved for some weeks yet is bound to annoy you. However, there’s good news, and that is, in the meanwhile, you’ll not only find clever ways around these, you’ll learn how to avoid getting involved with them in the future.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

Late next week, on 17 June, your ruler Venus moves into the communication angle of your chart, and is joined by the Sun, a few days later. This triggers a sharp shift of focus from the practical matters you’ve been wrestling with to exciting new ideas. Knowing that, tackle any remaining tasks right away.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

In early April your ruler Mercury moved into the most strategic portion of your chart, and was retrograde there for three weeks, until mid-May. While you’ve learnt a lot, not all of those insights are clear. Be patient. Once Mercury moves into Gemini, this Sunday, all those puzzling situations will come together.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

Sooner or later you’ll have to tackle certain issues that are tricky not because they’re so challenging but, rather, because they’re vague. Either they’ll be ill-defined or you’re lacking information. Yet, if nothing’s done, they’ll only get worse. Knowing that, proceed slowly, and analyse the reaction to every step you take.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

Don’t get caught in the trap of conditional arrangements. Certain rather selfish individuals are unsure about their plans, so telling others to put off commitments until things are clearer. While similar situations happen to everybody now and again, in this case it’s solely for the convenience of those individuals in question.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

When somebody is advising you or showing you how to do something, you pay close attention. While to you this is obvious, not everybody understands that it’s both about respecting the knowledge of others and their efforts on your behalf. Realising that, don’t be surprised if certain individuals ignore your suggestions.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

One particular individual is becoming increasingly impossible. They’re wonderful but so self-centred they tend to forget about the impact of their decisions and actions on others, including you. But, ironically, if asked to change, they will. State the problem clearly, without explanations or justifications. They’ll do what you ask.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Often when things don’t work out, it’s no more than a nuisance. However, certain of the existing arrangements or future plans you’re struggling with would actually benefit from a rethink. There’s no arguing the fact that, in the past, these made sense. But times have changed and so, too, should these.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Keeping your thoughts to yourself doesn’t come naturally to you. But recently, certain matters have been so fraught with problems you felt it best to avoid discussing all but the most essential of issues. Happily, Mercury’s move to accent these will lead to a mood that’s less uptight and more conversational.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

The time has come, not only to get to the bottom of increasingly confusing matters, but to gather solid facts on the intentions of others. It seems you made the mistake of assuming certain individuals are more conscientious than they are. Only now are you discovering the issues they simply didn’t mention.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Watching arrangements that are longstanding and, equally, took a lot of time to organise come undone is no fun. Yet you’ve suspected they wouldn’t withstand the rather dramatic developments currently shaking things up. The trick is to take things in stages, that is, make, then learn from, each change.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Unsettling as sudden changes are, they’re probably in your best interests. Not only does this mean there’ll be little time for debate, it also prevents over-planning. That, in turn, means you can base decisions on your instincts as much as on hard facts, and do so as each event takes place.
