Premier has left the hospital for his house in British capital
Six days after his successful open heart surgery at the Harley Street Clinic in London, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was discharged from the hospital Monday.
According to Express News, the prime minister left the hospital for his house in the British capital.
Premier's son Hussain Nawaz earlier said the prime minister's health condition had improved and his blood reports were encouraging.
Tweeting on her personal handle on Monday, daughter Maryam Nawaz added her father's doctors were satisfied with the progress and latest medical reports.
The PM was shifted to his private room from the intensive care unit (ICU) at the medical facility.

He underwent open heart surgery on May 31, 2016, in the British capital – his second cardiac procedure in five years.
The doctors have advised the premier to continue taking rest for another week and a half, Hussain said, adding the prime minister takes a walk every hour [as part of the recovery].

Nawaz had travelled to London on May 22 for a medical check-up but prolonged his visit after doctors advised to carry out the surgery following examinations.
During his absence, the federal government unveiled Rs800 billion development budget, an amount Rs100 billion higher than last year.
