Ameen, the man, arrested on Saturday from Sialkot, was produced before Magistrate Farid at the Cantonment Kutchery under tight security. The police said the man had confessed to his role in the crime but they needed to further question him on the circumstances.
The magistrate handed him over to the Factory Area police.
Some of the police officials quoted Ameen as saying that his brother-in-law Abbas had told him that Naveed Iqbal would pay him Rs50,000 for helping him kill his parents.
He said he was told to kill Justice Iqbal’s mother which he did.
He said his brother-in-law had killed the judge’s father while Naveed Iqbal had collected cash and valuables from house.
Naveed Iqbal and Abbas are on physical remand with the Factory Area police till February 3.
