While opening a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz office at Barsala, Rashid said that the federal government had provided Rs300 billion to the AJK government during the past three years but it appears that not even 10 per cent of the funds were spent for the progress and development of the state.
He added that it was the right of the people of AJK to ask their Prime Minister Chaudhry Majeed where such a huge amount of money provided to him was spent.
Pointing out that there was marked difference between the Pakistan and Indian sides of Kashmir on either side of the Kohala Bridge as far as development was concerned, the minister said that once the PML-N comes into power in the valley, the situation on both sides will be made similar.
