
A polio worker was killed and two of his friends were seriously wounded when their motorcycle plunged into a ravine in Nawagai area of Buner on Monday. According to a police official, “Polio worker Sajid was heading towards the district headquarters hospital when he lost control of the bike which fell into a gorge.” Body of the deceased was recovered, while the wounded were rushed to Civil Hospital Nawagai. The injured are said to be in stable condition. The district administration of Buner had announced a three-day polio campaign earlier this week.
