Convention 2016: State Life paid Rs13.7b to 63,887 claimants

Insurance giant earns record income of Rs66.8b in 2015.

ISLAMABAD: The State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC), in the year 2015, has paid total amount of Rs13.762 billion against all claims, thus providing financial protection and savings to millions of valued policyholders and their families nationwide, SLIC Chairwoman Nargis Ghaloo said addressing the Convention 2016.

Executive Directors Jamil Anwar, Irfan Anwer Baloch and Izqar Khan, along with General Manager Marketing Azhar Hussain, senior executives and delegates from all over the country attended the convention.



According to a press release, Ghaloo said that SLIC has the marketing strength of 1,060 area managers, 7,481 sales managers, 20,321 sales officers and 165,206 sales representatives spread in far corners of the country. Its aim is to widen the area of operation of life insurance and making it available to as large a section of the population as possible. State Life is also fulfilling its obligations to the nation by providing respectable job opportunities to the masses to work as field workers.
