For the people: ‘Healthcare is govt’s top priority’

MS Khalid Fakhar said the hospital was being constructed in three phases at an estimated cost of Rs5 billion

FAISALABAD:  

“The provincial government has made the health sector a top priority and is taking steps to provide healthcare services to people at their doorstep,” Rana Ahmed Shaharyar of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz said during his visit to the Children’s Hospital on Wednesday. He visited the hospital in Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s stead.

Shaharyar appreciated the facilities in the Outdoor Patients Department (OPD) and Emergency Block of the hospital.

He called it the best health services project in the district. MS Khalid Fakhar said the hospital was being constructed in three phases at an estimated cost of Rs5 billion. He said that first phase was complete and more than 700 children were being treated in the OPD daily.
