We ask three fashionistas to put together an outfit using the same item from a designer’s collection

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. We ask three fashionistas to put together an outfit using the same item from a designer’s collection, according to their style and taste!

This silk Sania Maskatiya top gets its colour-blocking right! The cut is innovative and stylish and the mauve lining inside gives it a great finish. The asymmetrical top can be dressed up or down and worn as a statement piece to a brunch or to a dinner party!

I decided to pair the top with my raw-silk flared white pants, as I was going for a day look. I wore nude pointy heels by Valentino, then I accessorized with a diamond bracelet by Canary Cove, a black McQueen wrap-around bracelet, and a black and gold Canary Cove necklace. I paired these with my grey snakeskin clutch. For my hair I opted for beachy waves to add a bit of softness. For make-up I kept it very simple, opting for simple black eyeliner and kajal, some Bobbi Brown liquid blush and MAC lipstick. I would definitely wear this outfit in the daytime on a beach holiday, and I think it would be great for a summer yacht event too. At night I would pair it with black tights or black pants.

I would describe my personal style as comfy and casual, since you’ll usually spot me around in jeans and kicks. For this look I wanted to focus on Sania’s top, so I paired it with simple black culottes from Zara, classic nude pointed heels and a light pink Bottega Veneta clutch. I wanted my hair and makeup to be kept minimal, and Beenish managed just the right look for my outfit. I would sport this look to a brunch, or for an evening out with friends!

I wore the Sania Maskatiya top with skinny grey tights from Zara. For accessories, I wore my everyday-wear rings, a royal blue leather-strap watch, some pearl bracelets and a pair of cocktail earrings. Since the top itself makes such a statement, I kept the rest of my outfit simple by adding a pair of peep-toe patent black heels, and a grey knot-clutch by Bottega Veneta. For my hair and make-up, Beenish Haji of Avenue Salon and Spa kept my look soft and fun, with very natural, glowing makeup — light eye shadow and soft lipstick in a pink-beige hue, and lots of volume in the curls. I would wear this to a brunch or even a formal dinner.
