Crackdown: Ice cream factories sealed  

The authority’s Nishtar Town team fined Deli FC Foods located at Muslim Chowk and Ideal Sweets and Bakers

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Monday sealed several ice cream manufacturing units, milk shops and food outlets. PFA food safety officers sealed two ice-cream manufacturing units at Bund Road. The authority’s Samanabad Town officers sealed an ice manufacturing plant for using dirty water. PFA officials also sealed Madni Milk Shop in the same neighbourhood for selling adulterated milk. A PFA Ravi Town team sealed Maqsood Butt Ice Cream factory, Tayyab Milk Shop, Riaz Milk Shop and Bhola Sweets. The authority’s Nishtar Town team fined Deli FC Foods located at Muslim Chowk and Ideal Sweets and Bakers. A PFA Wagha Town team fined Shahi Tikka Shop at Dhobi Ghat. In Township, the Punjab Ice Cream and Kasuri Milk Shop were also fined.
